CARS Ministry
Our Mission:
The CARS Ministry of Princeton Alliance Church is committed to meeting the transportation needs of people who are unable to meet those needs themselves.
What is the CARS Ministry?
A self-supporting ministry of Princeton Alliance Church, the CARS Ministry takes in donated vehicles, repairs them and gives away selected cars each month to those in need who qualify through PAC’s He Cares, We Care Ministry.

How do I donate a vehicle?
Donating a car is easy and the donor is provided with a written acknowledgment of their donation for tax purposes. We take most makes and models. Free towing is available for most vehicles. The bottom line is that gift of your vehicle will directly impact someone’s life. Contact Fran by email or by calling 609.799.9000 x11 to arrange for your car to be dropped off or for it to be towed free of charge.

What happens to my car?
Our give-aways are fully inspected using a 100-point checklist, then test driven before given to recipients qualified through He Cares, We Care, the benevolence ministry of Princeton Alliance Church. Some of the donated vehicles we receive are salvaged for parts or sold, the proceeds of which go to support the CARS ministry, coming full circle to ultimately impact those we serve.
Can I help out by serving in the CARS Ministry?
Absolutely! We fully rely on our incredible volunteers. Anyone 14 and older with an interest in cars is always welcome to join one of our weekly small group serving teams, performing such vital tasks as repairing suspensions, replacing radiators, cleaning cars and changing oil.
How are people selected to receive a car?
Those who receive a vehicle undergo a comprehensive qualification process with a caseworker from He Cares, We Care. This helps determine whether their inability to afford a car repair or replacement is short-term or a symptom of a larger problem. He Cares, We Care’s holistic approach allows caseworkers to uncover any underlying problems, rather than just relieving a symptom.

One more avenue for practical assistance! Experienced volunteer teams of backyard mechanics work on vehicles donated by those in our congregation and community making them road–ready for single moms and others in need.
We will gladly train you in the garage, no matter what your age or experience.
Serve by changing oil, performing mechanical work on a car, or by detailing an interior!
