The Christmas Store

The holidays can be particularly difficult for families struggling to make ends meet. That's why we created The Christmas Store. The store empowers local families in need to shop for their children by offering quality gifts at affordable prices. Donated gifts that retail from $10–$30 are available for $1–$3. The store is open for one day only—Saturday, December 16—and participation is by invitation. Free childcare and gift wrapping are also provided. All proceeds from the store are reinvested in food for The Pantry. Through this store, our He Cares We Care Ministry brings hope to families (particularly households led by single moms) that would otherwise go without at Christmas.

How Can You Help?

Provide a Gift
Visit the display in the church lobby, select a $10, $20 or $30 gift tag, and drop off a new, unwrapped gift at the same display area by Sunday, December 10.

Volunteer at the Store

There are lots of ways you can help us prepare in advance and on the day of the event. From sorting gifts and setting up the store, to serving as a shopping assistant or cashier, and offering to translate Spanish for those whose first language isn't English. For a complete list of opportunities and the blocks of time for each, click the Volunteer button below.
There's something for everyone to do. Families and small groups are invited to serve together.
