Adult Classes

Helping You Know God Because knowing God is at the heart of our mission, we take your spiritual development seriously. We offer two types of classes to adults: CORE classes and LIFE classes. Our CORE classes are designed to help you grow in your faith. They offer you the tools you need to be a fully devoted follower of Christ. CORE classes are for all adults, regardless of age or stage of life. Although they complement one another, they can be taken in any order. CORE Classes Alliance Core Values The Story: Discovering God's Big Idea The Walk: Learning the Art of Discipleship The Book: Listening to the Voice of God The Church: Living in Community The Mission: Uncovering the Heart of God Our LIFE classes are designed to help you take a Christ-centered approach to the practical areas of life. Applying biblical principles, they address common life issues such as parenting, marriage and finances. LIFE classes are situation-specific, meaning they are relevant based on your stage of life. Discover PAC Single session offered once      Sunday, June 9, 2013 • 1–3 pm • Room 203 Facilitated by Lead Pastor Boyd Hannold, here you'll discover what we believe and how we work together to carry out the vision and mission of the church. This class is not only informative, it's your first step toward PAC membership. Curriculum provided at no cost. Baptism Class Single session offered three times      Sunday, June 2, 2013 • 11–11:30 am • Room 202    Sunday, July 14, 2013 • 11–11:30 am • Room 202    Sunday, August 11, 2013 • 11–11:30 am • Room 202 Baptism is an important step in your relationship with Jesus. If you would like to learn more about the purpose and significance of baptism, join us for one of these brief classes. Participation is encouraged if you would like to be baptized at PAC. Our next baptism celebration will be a joint summer event with PAC and our two church plants, 217church and Element church, on Sunday, August 25. Curriculum is provided at no cost. Questions? Alliance Core Values 8-week class offered once Sundays, June 23–August 11 • 1–3 pm • Room 203 What we believe motivates and inspires us to live out the Alliance core values: seven basic principles that flow out of our passion for Jesus. These values are not as much “Alliance” in nature as they are the very core values that Jesus Himself lived and calls us to live. Each class offers a mix of video from Alliance workers around the world and live teaching facilitated in the PAC classroom. Curriculum provided at no cost.
