It's that time of year when college students start thinking about their summer plans. PAC is committed to investing in the next generation and to giving young adults who are sensing a call to ministry the opportunity to gain hands-on experience.
Our summer internship program is designed for students age 18–22 who consider PAC their church home and who are interested in pursuing ministry vocationally, bi-vocationally or as a significant volunteer. Internships are 10-week paid positions that require 30 hours per week of ministry involvement. Our leadership team will invest in your personal, spiritual and ministry development throughout the summer, including cross-ministry experience through two community service projects and our Summer Camp outreach.
Below are the six ministry areas with available internships, linked to their corresponding job descriptions.
Interns are expected to participate the full, 10-week period from June 5 to August 11. Internship roles that involve a short-term mission as a requirement include that information in the job description. Otherwise, short-term missions and other time off (such as vacations) should be scheduled outside of the internship season. (See "2017 Internship Expectations" for complete details.)
