The Pantry

"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me." Matthew 25:35

Did you know that 1.2 million New Jersey residents are food insecure, and one-in-five children go hungry? That's according to the 2014 "Hunger in America" study conducted by Feed America. Over the years, we've seen those statistics play out as we've met with countless hard-working parents and individuals struggling to put food on the table. The Pantry at Princeton Alliance Church exists to improve the quality of life of families in need while pointing them to the hope and grace of Jesus.

The Pantry offers supplemental groceries, personal care, baby care and domestic items. During the summer, fresh vegetables are available through our church garden and relationships with local growers. Farm fresh eggs from a Flemington-based brood of hens are also frequently in stock.

The Pantry is a donor-driven ministry, which means it is fully funded and supported by donations. A current list of our greatest pantry needs is always available online. We accept non-perishable, unexpired items for The Pantry at the office lobby entrance of the church, Monday–Thursday from 9 am–4 pm, and Sunday from 8 am–1 pm. Financial gifts supporting The Pantry and other He Cares We Care initiatives can be conveniently and securely made online.

To qualify as a shopper at The Pantry, you must live in one of the designated* communities, and demonstrate your need through an application and interview process.
We currently serve over 450 people, and the number continues to grow. The Pantry is open every Wednesday from 1–3 pm and Thursday from 7–8:30 pm by appointment.
