We want you to experience wholeness, spiritually and emotionally. There are times in life when we need help working through challenging issues and circumstances. If you're facing difficulties that require more than a couple of conversations with a pastor, start with our resources to find a local, Christ-centered counselor.
hearts+homes is a new PAC ministry that specializes in “furnishing fresh starts.” Complementing He Cares We Care and augmenting PAC’s goal of offering holistic care to those in need, hearts+homes provides furnishings to qualified families seeking a fresh start in life. In the spirit of exponential ministry, hearts+homes partners with churches, social services agencies, and community advocates to expand the footprint of care they offer the families they serve. Our ministry focus is currently on assisting those who serve:
- Underemployed single moms
- Families and individuals emerging from crisis situations
- Refugees approved to resettle in Middlesex and Mercer counties by the US State Department
We’re a little different in that we minister to both our giving and our receiving families. The needs of our receiving families are clear. But many who give furnishings are also in a transitional season as they move from the area or close a home after the loss of a loved one. Letting go and saying goodbye can be hard, so we do our best to bring compassion, care, and comfort to that process.
PAC is currently providing a location, guidance, support, resourcing, and accountability to hearts+homes. When goals set to ensure ministry health are met, PAC will launch hearts+homes as an independent, non-profit organization to benefit the larger community.
He Cares We Care
As PAC's benevolence ministry, He Cares We Care works to break the cycle of financial insecurity by assisting individuals with immediate needs for food through The Pantry, meeting transportation needs through Cars Ministry, and partnering with agencies to assist families threatened with utility shut off and/or eviction. Above all, we pray. We know the provision comes from God and seek his wisdom in assisting those in need.
