English as a Second Language

Equipping immigrants and refugees living in the Princeton vicinity with essential English language skills needed to connect with community, experience the love of Jesus, and pursue life goals free of linguistic barriers.

ESL: English as a Second Language

The multi-faceted process of resettling into a foreign country is compounded when one is unable to speak the native language. PAC’s ESL (English as a Second Language) Team provides immigrants and refugees with classroom instruction via comprehensive lesson planning, fostering of a safe learning environment, and blessing learners with the opportunity to encounter the love of Jesus through this experience.

About our Classes

Classes meet weekly for 12 weeks. Learners are welcome to register regardless of their level of English skill. In fact, no English is required. You'll learn English, meet friends, and have fun. The curriculum focuses on listening, speaking, reading and writing English using Intercambio's proven tools which are interactive and applicable to daily life.

Registration is closing soon. Email  before March 12. Our volunteer team will help you with the placement assessment and explain your next steps. Classes begin March 14th and meet weekly from 6:30-8:30 PM. There is no cost for registration or class.

About our Team

None of this happens without the church family and our many friends who volunteer to make this possible. We exist to help people know God, develop community, and bring hope. The ESL team is here to help you with language skills so that you can connect with community and pursue life goals free of linguistic barriers. We do so out of the love that we have experienced through Jesus. We want to connect with our local community in meaningful ways and believe that ESL is one of those ways. We want to strengthen the community through cultural awareness. Though our teaching team is diverse, we are learners too.

We're happy to help you along your journey. If you have questions you can reach us at .
