What is Generate 2019?

Generate is a five-day Gospel-centered camp experience that is all about leading students to know Christ and make him known. The week is focused on students taking the next step with God, whether it’s their first step with Him, or encouraging them into a deeper relationship with their Savior. Please note July 22nd and 27th/28th are travel days.

Generate is hosted by a para-church organization called Youth Ministry 360. YM360’s mission is to meet youth ministry needs “full-circle.” They offer youth ministry resources such as curriculum, youth worker training events, and student conferences.

Here’s what students can expect at this year’s Generate:

  • Powerful teaching by Dave Rhodes
  • Engaging worship led by We the Union
  • Small group connection time with their PAC small group
  • Fun games and activities that include: use of the swimming pool, volleyball and basketball tournaments, bumper ball soccer, corn hole tournament, and other various lawn games

God is the great redefiner. Through the person and work of Christ, God made complete renewal possible for all who would come to faith in Him, redefining our reality. In the salvation offered by God, we discover a new identity, redefining who we are. And in discovering who God meant for us to always be, our purpose is redefined.

Join us in 2019 as we journey through Redefined.

Day 1 Redefining Our Existence (God as Creator and Life-Giver)

Day 2 Redefining Our Realty (The Cross and Salvation)

Day 3 Redefining Our Identity (Adoption into God’s Family)

Day 4 Redefining Our Purpose (Knowing the Gospel and Making It Known)

Why Do We Go?

  • Glorify God in worship, word, and community
  • Expose God’s heart for the lost
  • Introduce Jesus Christ into the whole life of each student

Will There Be Fundraisers For This Event?

No. Princeton Alliance Church provides a subsidy to each student that attends. The remainder of the funds needs to be raised on an individual basis. Some additional subsidies may be available on request for those with financial need. Please have conversations with the PAC Youth team at the beginning of the fundraising process.

Where Will We Stay?

Generate 2019 will be held in Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The camp, as well as our sleeping accommodations, are there. Students stay in same-gender rooms with approved volunteer leaders interspersed in rooms between the students. Each leader is responsible for a small group (approximately 5) of same-gender students throughout the conference.

When Do We Leave and Return?

We leave from Princeton Alliance Church (PAC) Monday, July 22, 2019, time to be determined. We return to PAC late Saturday, July 27th or early morning Sunday, July 28th.

What Is Our Travel Transportation?

PAC contracts a coach bus service for travel to Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Once at our destination, Covenant College is where our daily activities happen. Therefore there will be minimal bus use other than the possibility of a couple of group trips.

Where Will We Eat?

Scheduled meal stops occur as we travel to and from Lookout Mountain. Onsite, Generate uses Coventry College’s cafeteria or the “Great Hall” as it is known. They offer a few varieties of hot foods, a full salad bar, a sandwich bar, and a choice of desserts daily.
