Join our Upcycle Team

Sometimes we choose to upcycle furnishings that need a little love or a fresh new look before they’re ready to be rehomed. If you have a heart to serve, a creative side, and a knack for refinishing or repainting furniture, email us. Dates and times are flexible. You can arrange to work with a buddy at PAC (observing social distancing guidelines) or you can take your project home.

Join our Inventory Team

Our goal is to respond to emergency situations as quickly as possible upon receiving a call. To facilitate this, we maintain a robust, mobile, inventory system that allows us to know exactly what furnishings we have on hand at any moment. If you are organized and detail oriented, are comfortable using mobile apps, and would enjoy helping us help others by entering and managing inventory, email us. Training provided. Dates and times are flexible.

Join our Home Visit Team

Our happiest days are when we serve our giving and receiving families through home visits. It’s where we really shine. Home visits involve compassionately listening, encouraging, and praying for families while assessing needs. We take what we learn to carefully create a pickup or delivery plan. Then, we pick up or deliver furnishings using helpful tools that make the work easy and fun. We have multiple Home Visit teams, so you can choose to serve once
monthly or more frequently. Dates and times vary based on the schedules of the families we serve. You do need to be physically healthy to serve in this area.

COVID-19 Precautions

For the safety of the families we serve and the safety of our teams, we are currently providing curbside pickup and delivery only. We are not entering occupied homes (i.e., homes with overnight occupants). Donations can be queued up on a porch, in a driveway, garage, or other open space outside of the home. One of our friendly team members will briefly come to your door, introduce themselves, confirm the items you’re donating, and provide you with donation paperwork.

As a precaution, our team members wear masks/gloves and social distance as much as possible when interacting with families. We do expect similar courtesies from the families we serve. If an interacting family member does not have a mask of their own, we will provide them one.
